Release Notes: Page Information with selectable language variant

OpenText Web Site Management Server is a server application that provides an editorial workspace for editors, publishing functions for web pages, and management functions for large websites in the intranets and internet.

OpenText Web Site Management Server Version 11.2 SP1 HF2 includes the following new features and changes:

Page Information with selectable language variant

In dialog “Show Page Information” that is available in context menu of a page, it is now possible to select a language variant or all language variants to get the information for the current page. As before, the dialog will be opened first with the current language. Additionally, the RQL to load the information for a page (PAGE load (extended page information)) has been enhanced to make it possible to get a subset of information for a page. The attribute “option” that in the past only supports the fixed value “extendedinfo” now supports the following values:

  •  -1 or extendedinfo = all information
  •  0 = General page information (created, changed, released, project variants, assigned templates, language variants and character sets)
  •  1 = Structure elements
  •  2 = Workflows
  •  4 = Authorization packages
  •  8 = Publishing packages
  •  X, X<16 = combinations of values above (for example 12 to get Authorization and Publishing packages)

The new attribute “languagevariant” does support the following values:

  •  all = information for all language variants (default)
  •  current = information for the current language variant
  •  GUID of a language variant = information for this language variant
