Executive Summary
OpenText tested Web Site Management Server and Delivery Server 16 under load conditions and compared the results to earlier tests done on WSM 11.2.2. Additionally, the impact of the Asset folder - introduced in Management Server 16 - was tested.
These results indicate that the response times for Delivery Server 16.0 have improved compared to Delivery Server 11.2.2.
Also load times for pages and other performance indicators show better performance of Management Server 16 over Management Server 11.2.2.
Results indicate that publications with the Asset folder type have only low impact on performance compared to the Asset Manager folder type. Considering the many advantages of the Asset folder, like new user interface and improved storage in a central database, this should be no obstacle to using the Asset folder and converting existing Asset Manager folders.
